Woodward Group provided TES-AMM, a global leader in sustainable technology services, with a brand new, state-of-the-art production facility at its West Midlands base.

As a trusted leader of sustainable technology lifecycle solutions, TES-AMM provides comprehensive services for technology assets throughout their lifecycle, from deployment, decommissioning and disposition all the way through to recycling and repurposing at end-of-life.

Following a strong period of organic growth and company acquisitions, TES was looking for a contractor that could work closely with their in-house team to develop a 127,000 sq ft, high-tech facility that would better suit its sophisticated production requirements and become the company’s flagship UK HQ. TES contacted Woodward Group off the back of a recommendation provided by another contractor, who had been impressed with our previous works.

Woodward Group designed, installed and commissioned the production and office facility, with works including electrical power, fibre, data, lighting (including emergency), distribution, containment, central heating, plumbing, air-conditioning and ventilation.

TES now has a fully functioning production facility based in Cannock, Birmingham, which serves as a hub for its service portfolio, including Managed Deployment Services (MDS), Information Technology Asset Disposition (ITAD), and Information and Communications Technology (ICT) refurbishment, and parts harvesting.

By having all of its services under one roof, TES is better equipped to provide lifecycle synergies and efficiencies that reinforce its competitive position in the UK market. Employing over 100 staff, the facility will also provide a real boost to the local economy.

On completion of the works, Woodward Group also put a PPM service plan in place to ensure that all mechanical, electrical, fire and security requirements are maintained, up to date, and remain in-line with safety regulations. We’re thrilled to have also secured another site with TES in Scotland, with works expected to begin soon.
